The band TresSoli borns in 2012 after a long series of experiences shared by its individual members; the band's starting concept originated in the 1960s in Tagliacozzo, a village in the Abruzzo region (province of L’Aquila), and evolved through various phases and lineups while keeping its core nucleus intact.

The band soon took on its definitive shape by adding new musicians, eventually becoming a full-fledged ensemble boasting an enviable rhythm section and an equally superb horn section.

As the years went by, the musicians matured, and their lives and priorities shifted; consequently, by 2012, the lineup had been reduced to just three instruments. Despite the absence of keyboards, the group refused to abandon its passion for live performance, eschewing pre-recorded tracks, and instead turned its stripped-down setup into a strength. The trio focused more heavily on the vocal capabilities of the individual members, complementing their extensive instrumental experience.

This choice proved successful, leading TresSoli to explore new musical territory and a big array of genres: from classic Italian and international pop (including the "Beat" era) and the works of great singer-songwriters (foremost among them Lucio Battisti and Pino Daniele) to rock music spanning the 70s through the 90s.

In 2024, saxophonist Luca D’Alfonso joined the group—initially as a special guest and later as a permanent member. This was not a first-time collaboration but rather a return after a twenty-year absence, albeit in the new role of soloist.

TresSoli has performed at numerous events in clubs, open-air venues, and theaters. Throughout 2018 and 2019—and continuing to this day—the group has starred in a series of events dedicated to Italian and international music in County Newry, Northern Ireland, where it enjoys tremendous success.

To date, the band has released an album of original material (*Il nemico ti ascolta*)—currently being re-released—and boasts a repertoire of approximately 200 songs, all performed strictly live; above all, it possesses over 70 years of experience, making it the longest-running active group in the history of Tagliacozzo.
